Take Action in your Community

We hope the film will inspire you to reflect and engage with your community. Here are a few ideas you can share!

1
Host your own screening of the film

Whether it’s a screening for friends and family, your student society, community group, NGO, charity or even your workplace, hosting your own screening of CREEDE U.S.A. is a great way to keep the conversation going.

2
Explore your perceptions of the “other side of the aisle”

Do you have a yawning Perception Gap, or are you in sync with the American public? More In Common’s study explores how Americans tend to have a distorted understanding of people on the other side of the aisle, what causes it, and why it matters.

3
Improve your communication and depolarization skills

These professional level courses from Braver Angels have been crafted by experts in communications and depolarization. They provide an effective and “safe” way to interact with people in difficult situations. Each course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete, and course options include:

Skills for Bridging the Divide
Depolarizing Within
Families & Politics
Skills for Social Media
Managing Difficult Conversations

4
Join or start a local alliance

Braver Angels alliances are local groups of people who have participated in a Braver Angels experience, become members, follow the Braver Angels Way, and want to connect and make a difference in their community. If you don’t see a local alliance near you, why not start your own?

5
Support Creede Rep and/or your local theater and arts organizations

Through attending performances, volunteering, bringing others to CRT, and making financial donations, you make magic possible in our little mountain town. However you choose to participate, we’re grateful for your investment in Creede and Creede Repertory Theatre. Thank you for all you allow us to do!

Or, support your own local theater or arts organization! Attend a performance, volunteer, or donate.
